Al-Furqan is run by a vibrant community of 20+ volunteers, all of whom are working professionals, self-employed, or students. For more than 15 years, we have begun conducting regular weekly classes for men and women of all abilities and which benefits students in more than 20 countries.

We provide support to communities in need, fostering resilience and solidarity. We believe in fostering environments where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
Through weekly classes, seminars, and Quran lessons, we offer a range of educational programs for men, women, and children. Our goal is to foster a deeper understanding of Islam, Arabic language, and Tajweed, helping every participant grow spiritually and intellectually.
We distribute free Qurans and Islamic literature to non-Muslims interested in Islam and those newly embracing the faith. Our resources help individuals explore Islam at their own pace, providing clear and accurate information about the religion and its teachings.

All of our weekly circles, seminars, and khutbahs are conducted in the English language.
We host over 40 educational seminars and khutbahs each year, covering a wide range of Islamic teachings.
A weekly 90-minute support group for new Muslims is launching soon, providing a safe space for reverts to strengthen their faith together.

I have known the brothers at al-Furqan St Albans for many years. They are striving to spread the true teaching of Islam to Muslims and non-Muslims alike. I strongly urge you to spend from that which Allah has given you, and aid these brothers in this noble endeavour.

I embraced Islam in 2014 after a researching the truth for many years. It’s hard knowing where to start as a new Muslim, and its easy to become overwhelmed. The Islamic Information Centre is a much-needed project in St Albans to provide a structured support mechanism for new Muslims. And its much more than that: dawah to non-Muslims, as well as classes for all ages and genders. Please support this project!
After reverting to Islam, my journey of faith was deeply enriched by Al-Furqan. It became the cornerstone of my learning, providing knowledge that was not only profound but also backed by factual evidence. The structured guidance I received helped me understand my new faith with clarity and confidence. Al Furqan created an amazing environment for learning environment, where every question was welcomed and every answer felt rooted in authenticity. I am forever grateful for finding them so early in my journey, as they played a pivotal role in shaping my understanding of Islam.
As a convert, it can be hard to navigate seeking knowledge, learning Qur’an, and fitting into a new community. Al-Furqan provides a much-needed community, as well as a structured support mechanism for learning. Their Islamic Information Centre is all that and more: providing dawah to non-Muslims, Quran/Arabic classes for all ages and abilities, as well as a place to strengthen our ties together as Muslims in the community!
