Hertfordshire is a county north of London with more than 1 million people and 80% are white. But, fewer than 5000 are Muslims.
With your generous donations, the Islamic Information Centre will provide:

The centre will offer free literature and Quran to both non-Muslims and new Muslims. It will provide essential support and training to foster greater knowledge and connection to the faith.
Our academy has 400+ registered students worldwide across 20 countries. We cover topics from Islamic teachings to modern issues to engage participants of all ages. We will also organize study circles for Arabic and Tajweed.
Mentorship and practical assistance to help ease the transition into the Islamic faith. Your contribution ensures that new Muslims feel welcomed, supported and empowered to grow in their Islamic journey.
A focus on nurturing their understanding and love for the Book of Allah from a young age. These lessons will emphasize both memorization and instill the values of the Quran.
The donation hub will serve as a centralized platform for supporting worthy causes overseas. It will facilitate the distribution of funds to underprivileged communities in essential areas of education, healthcare, clean water access, disaster relief, and more.

I embraced Islam in 2014 after a researching the truth for many years. It’s hard knowing where to start as a new Muslim, and its easy to become overwhelmed. The Islamic Information Centre is a much-needed project in St Albans to provide a structured support mechanism for new Muslims. After reverting to Islam, my journey of faith was deeply enriched by Al-Furqan. It became the cornerstone of my learning, providing knowledge that was not only profound but also backed by factual evidence. The structured guidance I received helped me understand my new faith with clarity and confidence. Al Furqan created an amazing environment for learning environment, where every question was welcomed and every answer felt rooted in authenticity. I am forever grateful for finding them so early in my journey, as they played a pivotal role in shaping my understanding of Islam.
As a convert, it can be hard to navigate seeking knowledge, learning Qur’an, and fitting into a new community. Al-Furqan provides a much-needed community, as well as a structured support mechanism for learning. Their Islamic Information Centre is all that and more: providing dawah to non-Muslims, Quran/Arabic classes for all ages and abilities, as well as a place to strengthen our ties together as Muslims in the community!

All of our weekly circles, seminars, and khutbahs are conducted in the English language.
We host over 40 educational seminars and khutbahs each year, covering a wide range of Islamic teachings.
A weekly 90-minute support group for new Muslims is launching soon, providing a safe space for reverts to strengthen their faith together.
We have successfully raised £80,000 towards our goal of £340,000, with a deadline of Feb 2025. We need your support!
